Denmark’s second city, Århus sits on the east coast of Jutland/Jylland and is situated on an eponymous river. Home to Scandinavia’s largest university, the city has seen major development with many young people enhancing Århus’ contemporary culture. The cover features a Greek meander on the outside which is interrupted by pickpoints. The city’s coat of arms, one of the oldest in Denmark, fills the center and features St. Clement with anchor, the patron saint of sailors and St. Paul with sword. Behind them is the cathedral and above is a crescent moon and seven-pointed star. Waves fill out the base while the two Saints toast to the city’s success.
